Grandma's Visit #2
Grandma Donna came out to visit Quin for the second time this week. The last time she saw Quin he was just three weeks old. As is expected, she was amazed at how much he's changed since then, turning into a laughing, standing (with help of course), happy little boy.
Unfortunately, Quin was a little grumpy for her visit. Overall though he was still a good little boy. We took him to the Austin Trail of Lights, which he absolutely loved because he goes nuts over Christmas lights! Pictures coming soon!

Grandma has only been away from Tim, Elizabeth and Quin for a few days, and I miss them already! Quin was only a "little" cranky a couple of times, and honestly, I didn't mind a bit. I was able to give him his night time bottle, and he went to sleep while I snuggled him, which was heavenly. I had lots of chances to kiss his neck, blow bubbles on his tummy and used various other ways to get Quin to giggle and laugh at me, so this California Grandma had a great time! And I was there to experience Quin's "discovery" of his toes, and that was really fun. It was four days that went by much too fast, but the Texas Solleys are coming for a visit to California soon, so that helped me leave without too much "pain". I had a great time and am grateful that I have such hospitable kiddos!
