Taking a walk

Isla recently tried the stroller for the first time and did great. Today, we went for a walk (while Quin road his bike) and she grew tired of the stroller rather quickly. By the end of the walk, she was done.

Quin, however, did great! This was the first time that he actually rode his big bike the entire time! I am so proud of him!

Reading

A few weeks ago, my Aunt sent a box of stuff for Quin. He has been enjoying all of the toys, but hadn't discovered that there were books in the box until recently.

When it is quiet in our house, I always wonder what Quin is up to (because if you know Quin, he is rarely quiet). Today I searched for him and found that he was sitting in the hall, reading a math book from the box of stuff. Then, he told me that he couldn't come eat lunch because he was too busy reading. He said "mom, I love books"! What more could a mother ask for!
