Big Girl

Isla has been sitting on her own for a few weeks now. She is often very happy sitting and playing with her toys for long stretches of time. She only falls over when she sees her toes beckoning, gets over excited, or lazy! She has figured out that sitting up allows her to see the world and everything going on around her, including her big brother who endlessly entertains with his non-stop energy!

Bike Parade

I am way behind on posts! Last week, Quin had a bike parade at school. They got to decorate their bikes, check them for safety, and then proudly show off their skills as they road around the school. Quin had a great time with his friends and he loves his "racing" bike! Here are a handful of pictures:

Quin's class

This past Wednesday, Quin's preschool class took a field trip to a local ice cream shop. They got a tour and ice cream! I am not sure who had the brilliant idea to load the kids up with sugar and then send them home to their parents, but it's okay! Quin had a great time, but unfortunately I had to miss most of the field trip due to Isla's accident. As Quin will excitedly inform you, he got to have cotton candy ice cream! Who knew they made such a flavor?! This was the last field trip of the year; he only has 5 more days of school for the year. What I am going to do with him all summer!?
