Feeding Issues- Part 3
Well, Quin is almost 2 months old, and we seem to have found a happy medium as far as breastfeeding goes. I breastfeed during the day and then he is given a bottle (of pumped milk) right before bed and then again in the middle of the night when he wakes up. This is not what I would call ideal breastfeeding, but it is what seems to work for us. We still have some problems when I breastfeed during the day (he is a sleepy eater, he gets a bit fussy if my milk doesn’t come down fast enough, he gets very fussy if my milk comes down too fast, and he sometimes is not inclined to work for the milk), but we are trying to work through them. He doesn’t seem to have any nipple confusion, so that is great. I feel a bit guilty for giving bottles at night, but I guess all that matters is that Quin is getting nutrition. He is a happy and healthy little boy!
