Happy 4th Of July (a few days late)

I wanted to wish everyone a (belated) happy 4th of July. Hopefully you had just as much fun as we did! To celebrate, we went over to Matt and Becky's and had a great BBQ. Angela, Brian, and Brennan were there too, along with Papa and GG. Quin loves to hang out with Brennan and his cousins, so he was happy to head over there for the day. (Quin constantly asks for the babies, and often mentions Brennan when he names all of his friends.) We had a great lunch, followed by a serious water fight. Quin wasn't so sure about the water, but eventually had fun watching everyone else play. I was smart and kept Quin close to me so I didn't get very wet. Everyone else, however, got soaked! It was a lot of fun. Maybe next year Quin will be more into water battles.

After getting soaked, we went by the local fireworks stand to buy some entertainment. We figured that we could use anything that stayed on the ground, as long as we stayed on the dirt far from the house. Of course, by the time we got home, had dinner, and waited for it to get dark, it was too late to do them! Quin was exhausted and ready for bed, so we decided to save them for his birthday (or as things go, it might be next year before we get around to enjoying them)! We had a great 4th though and got to spend it with family.
